We are looking to fill a few empty moderator positions here on Gamers Forum. This is open for all staff members that do not have mod powers as well (gfx pros + Game reviewers).
We are looking for someone who can handle some responsibility and can be a role model for other members. If you want the position just so you could look good, please don't apply. We need someone who can give some time into the forum by being able to mediate situations, by talking to members and resolve conflicts before there is any or to help resolve it. We also need someone who can help the forum go into the future with new ideas and helping us develop old and current ideas. This is a voluntary position so I can't make you do any of this, and if you can't do any of this, please don't apply.
There are a few restrictions. If you have less than 50 posts or have not been a member for more than 30 days you cannot apply. If you have more than 3 active Infraction Points on your account, you are also forbidden to apply. (Note that it's 3 points, and not 3 infractions)
It is also not mandatory as of yet, but users in the new GF Usergroups (Rookie, Member, and Veteran) will have a slight higher chance because of the progress they have already shown us to get to those positions. All other members are also free to apply.
Also note that we now have monthly mod meetings and have been having them for about 4 months. These are usually on Sundays right after our IRC event, we also need you to be able to come to those and contribute one way or another. We discuss a lot of topics there and you can get lost on our progress if you miss them. This is not another requirement, but we would prefer to have moderators who can attend meetings often.

Applications are accepted from now until Monday February 28, 2011. All moderators will be notified and announced in March. There will be an addition of at least two moderators to the team.
