Lots of Guests

I just came onto the forum and i saw more than 200 guests on, i assumed they were bots but about 180 of them are human guests lol, what type of advertising are you doing linux? lol, pretty good results i see :radar:

anyone else see it or am i going crazy?

guess i missed that but i have been advertising around a few places so thats no surprise but almost 200 at the same time is pretty good, and yet no new registrations lol

It's a shame, alot of people will see a forum - even a good one - but won't sign up unless they see something they want or won't sign up unless they need/want something - e.g. help.
One of the reasons I signed up here was because of Linux's offer and I also wanted to help his forum and now I'm still going months later on the same forum, only forum I actually visit anymore 8-) I signed up twice on the same forum once as they regularly delete inactive users - i could still find my posts, though. :P

Yeah its great to hear people signing up, well if they going to be more people here you have to buy new server or the site going to be slow.

thats going to happen if the there are too many visitors at the same time eating up all my bandwidth lol - i use about 40% of my maximum bandwidth per month so its good for now, if i absolutely have to get a server of my own, i probably will :-)

If you have a section when I can make donations I should made a donations for New Server or something but maybe when the site get bigger you make a real homepage instead. :)

That would be sort of neat to have a page with a link to the forum and arcade but it's nothing crucial.

but as im typing this - there are nearly 300 human guests on at the same time, its scary because about 75% of them are visiting the same thread :/ the others are just going around the forum

I dont need to brag or somthing but i tolled i some pople about this... Like on 3-7 forums.... So i think at least 100 are come from me and other by Linux ... Thats GREAT!

i think i know what you mean - a portal type - like new game info posted there? and announcements for forum?

well i can add that anytime but i'll have to do a lot more work than the free time i have now but i will probably do that later on

yea it sounded familiar lol - well we had one before for like 2 days but i couldnt make it work then :/ but as forum gets bigger, there will be more additions to the forum :-)
