So, there's a SotW topic suggestion board in the graphic staff section, but I wanted to know what topics you all would like to see in future SotW contests :)

Is there anything you're just itching to try, or something you'd love to see your peers work with? Can't guarantee your topic will get picked for one of them, but let's see what you've got!

Actually, what would be nice ( and still I'm not sure if you do this) is if you have one topic for SOTW and then the winner would have to say what the next topic would be.

I like the idea of an animated contest o.o Gifs aren't that hard to make... and people who enter the SotW are generally fairly graphics savvy.

We should have some "truly" anonymous SOTWs. We have held anonymous competitions in the past but we've seen certain sig makers reveal their sig. We need to make a way of people voting based solely on what they think is the best sig, not what member they like the most.

Once SOTW is done, the host can then release the participants names.

Yeah, we're all on some psychic wavelength - I've been wanting to do this ever since we had some upset over people possibly voting based on popularity over content (which I am not sure is ever really the case).

I definitely think we should do this :)

Truely anonymous would be great, it's hard though because people have a certain style of signatures. But without a name is about as close as it can get.

I still believe SOTW is a popularity contest. I've thought this since like....SOTW 60 or something.


I think Robots would be a cool signature theme.
Or Zombies.

Horror, or MS Paint Signatures.
Sometimes things like "Movies" or "Video Games" get boring.

As long as it's appropriate, it's not against the rules. We had a "Video Game Vixen" contest, once, and well... most video game/anime girls tend to... not wear much :/

What about a World War II theme? :)
It could be any country in the Allies or Axis side of the War, in a theatre of war of your choice; Eastern Front, Western Front, The Pacific.. etc.. I think it would be quite cool :)

It's always interesting when someone is presented with a sprite because of the size / quality and what not. It usually turns out fun for me...Idk about everyone else though.

I like the idea of a MS paint style sig, using only paint. And maybe refraining to only one font style maybe? You'd be very limited to try and make something cool.

Some new GFXers work really hard on there sigs, I don't vote for who's looks the best solely, but who worked the hardest on theres.

What about a SotW where only the persons who have not won any of the SotWs could enter! Perhaps banning Knibb and Devils and other pros for a week from the competition would shake up some new skills to the table!
