Yes, they are making a Left 4 Dead 3. My friend Zach found out on the Valve.com Forums and they said that they were alowed to make Left 4 Dead 3 as long as its not too ethnic. AND new Secial zombies (idk what they are) NEW characters (idk who they are but one of them is a cop) AND the setting is in Chicago, Illinois so if you live in that area your screwed : D. AND you get to play as the other characters too and its coming out next year so stay tuned!!!! : D

I hope that the levels will be very long because me and Echo agree that the levles are rly friggin short, when he came over to my house we played it and beat the entire campaign in less than 2 hours so they better have longer levels

EDIT: The whole New Orleans ethic thing? Total Bull. I mean, if killing fat lardos, potential massage therapists, Hormone filled Jockeys and pregnant women aren't wrong, what is? Pull apart the other parts of the game that aren't "Politically Correct". Please.

They are in the making of it, but no release date. I'm guessing next year. Its gonna take them awhile, because they were in the making of it, then they got sewed, never said anything about it for 1 or 2 or 3 yrs., then all of a sudden able to but at no warning like "In two years you will be able to release L4D3"

I really shouldn't formulate a detailed opinion about how they should stop killing a initially good game with cheap re-releases and how they instead should focus more on Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 (and finally making a new, good looking engine after 7 years)

This thing is old, and no matter how much they make it sparkle, it'll still have tremendous limitations.

But I may be wrong, if they rack up the polygon count by a few milions, provide support for Direct X 11 and thus tessellation, and make 4096px uncompressed textures available, I'll acknowledge that they successfully rebooted the Source engine.

Maybe they're waiting and are going to make a Voxel-based engine in a couple of years. That'd be a revolution, and a welcome one.
