Yes, that's the title of my band. Yes, I know, it's awesome. Sooo we started up a band, performing and unveiling ourselves at our high-school music talent show performance thingy. And we only know 4 songs, but starting next week we're gonna start writing (the singer in the second song is already recording professionally, and writing her own songs...so this should be okay) and performing our own originals, and hopefully be playing gigs and getting our name spread throughout our area.

We plan on learning at LEAST 35 songs this summer, to be able to play gigs or just local parties or whatever. But yeah, so far we have four and I'm gonna post them in order of performance at this talent show thing.

Also, yes it's the band name written on a white-board behind us because we are lame :3 Sorry for the crap camera holding...wasn't our fault :/

I wish xD It's my girlfriend's dad's, as well as the Les Paul and that single-neck SG in the other songs.

I'm definitely going to keep updating as we write and record. I mostly made this thread on opinions, and suggestions. We'll be playing mostly classic rock, rock and country. Just because it's the music in demand in the area, and it's easy/fun to play.

Holy crap.. I wish he was my dad..

Awesome man, will keep an eye on this thread. ;)

Edit: So you're looking for classic rock song suggestions? How about 'Paint It, Black'?

I've always wanted a Gibson EDS (thats what the dual neck SG's are called)

It's weird...I love gibson's dual neck, and I love coheed and cambria, but it bothers me when he uses a dual neck. Probably cuz he only uses it during welcome home and he only uses 1 neck. It's like if ur gonna play a dual neck use both necks -.-

I actually hate playing them, so I'd never buy one :P

Noted! We're gonna learn a lot of 80's rock, as our band agrees it is the best era of classic rock (verses the 60's and 70's), but I never even thought of that one man xD Of course there's gonna be exceptions, so you need to chime in with those ;)

It's a very smooth guitar. It's a little difficult playing solos and faster stuff on the 6-string neck on the bottom, just because it's a little narrower than the top neck. It's still fun, just have to watch you don't pull on any other strings with your bends.

I don't see why you'd have the double neck and play just one. It's why I was using that other SG in the other songs. It's so friggin top heavy, it just drags on your shoulder. It's not comfortable to play for more than 10 minutes standing.

>:b They're pretty fun. When you need to use both necks, anyways. It feels different but I enjoy it :)

Thanks man :D And in which song? Dreams is sung by my friend Rachelle, Cole was done my friend Teigen who wrote the song, and Ain't Nothin Bout You / Hotel California are done by my girlfriend's sister Alex!!

We're gonna work on harmonies this summer so they can all switch up who's singing songs :)

I will get back to you on that Freebird comment... I just need to find the epic video of a 14 year old kid doing the guitar solo absolutely perfect on a Gibson SG (cherry), ****ing lush guitar. But yeah, the cover was excellent.

I meant cuz the dual necks are so heavy and uncomfortable, making it suck having to play such a long song with a heavy and awkwardly balanced guitar. but, i guess they don't use a dual neck they just have like 15 guitar players. i coulda swore they did... still, stairway to heaven live its always like an extra 3 or 4 minutes long, and its on a dual neck
