(win xp)
im looking for a flight simulator. i want to learn how to learn normal passenger airplanes.

-i'm very novice, i hardly know anything about controlling a plane
-all instructions on what steps i have to take must be explained by the simulator
-all instructions must be in game. im not gonna read some manual.
-i dont care about graphics, the quality of the game is more important
-a good simulator that resembles actual flying very much, and trains the user to be a good pilot

based on this, which games are good?

if you don't find anything good on the level of the usual Microsoft Flight Simulator games, you can always turn to this game for funsies; DCS A-10C Warthog (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/series/warthog/) :)

Warthog is as real as you can get at the moment, apparently, and the visuals are stunning. You also get a big ass flight manual with the purchase; the real deal.

was looking at buying this. Dont feel I have the time to put into it right now, but it looks like a worthy clone variation. The only thing keeping me from it is my daunting list of games I need to play through.
