How Long
It's safe to say Mass Effect will stand proudly among the longest, most expansive games yet available on Xbox 360?. But exactly how long and how expansive is the experience? Here's what Ray had to say:
"It took me about thirty to forty hours to do just the core story, and another twenty, thirty hours of uncharted worlds beyond that. I think most players will probably spend forty to sixty hours, somewhere in there ? this is a big game. It's all at the same production value too. It's all consistent high-quality. I'm amazed, the team has done an amazing job."
Great, my life is over when this comes out.

Is that supposed to be long?
God knows that I spent hundreds and hundredsof hours on Pok?mon Ruby alone. There's also Sapphire and Diamond!
I used Pok?mon as a simile because it's something you would think to be bored of in no time. Call me a nerd then lol

Yeah me too. I hope you can be really really evil in it. I always finish the game as an evil character first.

Yeah but I like games that are long because it sucks when you have a great game with a short story and its all done before Dinner when you started at Lunch if you knowe what I mean.

I lost some friends (online and off) when KOTOR was released. And with Halo, Overlord, Skate and Bioshock I'll never see anyone for months lol

No it's another Xbox Exclusive. But it'll probably do the same as KOTOR (and Gears of War) and come out on the PC sometime later

If you play five hours a day you should be done in a little over a week.
In comparison, Oblivion's map is so huge and lots of quests.
Although this is still a very cool game! Assassin's Creed is still better 8-)
