When trying to post my sig it wont come transparent.
I am sure I am saving it as PNG not PDN, (Paint.NET)
And the Tran. Threshold is set right?
I am using windows 7 and uploading it at the sig page, and suggestion?

You're sure you don't have a solid background? Like, when you erase do you see a checkered pattern or just white?

Edit: Also, have you ever tried GIMP? It's a much better free alternative to PS than P.NET.

Yeah it is checkered, for now let's stick with PDN though...

Try saving it as GIF just to see if that works.

Sadly, didn't work, I may cry if I am stuck with a crappy avatar and no sig.

Well, that's not entirely a bad thing. GIF format also retain transparency so maybe it's just that you're overlooking a simple program thing. I think I still have PDN on my laptop, lemme see if I can figure it out.

Thanks, If that doesn't work maybe I can send them to you and you can upload them and I will take them. :/

No prob man.

Alright, so when saving, you should get this box:

Any bit depth under 32 won't retain transparency.

Nothing else seems to matter. All I did was draw that squiggly, set it to 32 and it saved it.

Edit: If it doesn't work, sure, I'll upload them for you :)

Ok, so the solution was wierd.
This goes for you to, guy who had trouble.
I simple uploaded it to the Image Host, and when I used the IMG code it was transparent.
So then, just use the IMG code as your Sig. :P

Yes, don't use the sig upload thing - it doesn't work (even for non-transparent images), as I have heard.

Uploading to an image hosting site and then pasting the image code to the post/your signature is the best way to go :)
