I'm bored, and I am up for scary horror games, any suggestions?
The scariest game I have played so far must be Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Dead Space 2 is pretty good if you live alone, play at night and turn your surround sound all the way up. I love it. Lol.

Yeah, I'd say Amnesia as well. However, Minecraft has made me jump more than any other game :P

Haha Minecraft? Seriously? I know it has creatures sneaking up on you and creepy sounds, but still...Minecraft?

Yup. Probably because in horror games, I'm cautious almost constantly, and there are often clues that let you know when something is about to happen. In minecraft I'll be walking around carefree, midday, minding my own business, turn around and a creeper explodes in my face.

I didn't say it was scarier than most games, but I jump a lot.

Penumbra: Black Plague. One of the scariest games I've ever played. Then again I haven't played that many scary games, but this one will definitely freak you out. You can pick this one up on steam.

All the games I think have been posted.
When I was young, psychonauts was the scariest..
Right now, I am playing ALL the FEARs, working on the first one right now, that is pretty scary. :P

maybe the premise is scary but the gameplay isn't. i jump sometimes but normally i'm just bored of shooting enemies over and over

Well, either way, it is good physic shooter, :P it isn't like GTA, where bodies fall flat in certain position every time someone dies.

EpsilonX

at the other end of the spectrum is demon's souls, where if you touch a body they move around, so you could walk forward and the body will get caught on your leg and you drag it across the ground and then it bounces off the ground and rolls around.

Before we get to offtopic Fallout's latest games have been cool physic wise, picking most everything up.
And silent hill movies where scary, wouldn't know about the games..

Sure, you can, but the game is for PS2 either way.

Or, if you can deal with the graphics, Silent Hill 1 for the PS1.

Only 2 of them...

idk why but that made me lol.

anyways, I didnt like dead space. It was kinda scary at first cuz i didnt know when a monster would show up, but eventually i just felt uncomfortable playing it, and not in the way that's intended.

That's how I felt for the first one, it is best to play with company, lol.
I have yet to play the second one for that exact reason. :P

the only time it scares me is when you walk into the wrong room and it shows people in chains and stuff and a really loud noise happens is that just me or is that scary i think its just the noise that startles me

I dont play to many horror games so I have to say dead space or Stalker. In dead space the monsters can jump out of everywhere and with the lights and sound it can be really freaky.

In Stalker however its not a particulary scary game. The moment that I was the most terrified was when I went underground the first time and was ambushed by a big ugly **** with the appropiate name bloodsucker. Other than that snorks can also surprise me sometimes.

Like, seeing the main character ripped to pieces so many times or going into a room and seeing a girl cut herself with a meat cleaver didn't scare or disturb me in the way the game intended, but they'd actually like ruin my day, after playing it I would be unhappy for the rest of the day, so i just sold it to gamestop and used the credit towards god of war collection

May not be the scariest but Condemned Criminal Origins was a pretty cool game when I played it. Survival horror. Serial killers, dark environment in the city. Etc etc.

You must have been playing the wrong game, 90% of combat interactions are with things that aren't human... >.>

They're mutants, not zombies (though I guess feral Ghouls could count as zombies). And if you were playing Fallout you'd have encountered them (and lots of other enemies) at some point..

I only played in one area, I think there were civilians or something like that, I shot one and they all started chasing me and shooting me.

Ah, well most friendly NPCs are human, and if you attack a friendly all others in the area turn hostile, so that's probably what happened. I was under the impression that you'd played more of the game (or a game that you thought was Fallout..)

And yeah, they are ALL mutants, except for trogs... they are just... something... :P Trogs are my top picture.
And spore couriers are man made.

I don't find the Fallout games particulary scary, even though I am a Fallout freak. But sticking to the topic, other than Amnesia I forgot to write The Suffering, which I found pretty scary as a kid...and I still find it scary.
