I need some help to find a good GIMP tutorial

I got GIMP not long ago but I cant really do anything and I suck at these things so I wonder if you know any user friendly tutorial for newbs?

look on pixel2life.com or tutorialized.com - they should have good gimp tutorials. I used to go there for photoshop tutorials years ago.

Try deviant art and or even YouTube. Lurk around a few GFx websites as well.
