I just got my invite from EA to test Battlefield 3's multiplayer!! Because they see fit that I am a worthy tester, aka I'm an absolute Battlefield nerd :D
I'm downloading it as I type, and I'll be able to play it as soon as it's installed! Did anybody else get the invite?

Correct. I'm not even allowed to go in depth about what I'm experiencing, because the version of the game I'm playing is not an accurate representation of the final product. Understandably, EA DICE don't want people reviewing an unfinished game!

I think they should allow people to review it. it could give them ideas on twinking a few things or give them a new idea to put in as an update down the road

That's what the Battlelog forum is for. They've instructed me to add my bug reports to the appropriate thread, so long as it's not already on the list of what's already been reported. They've also welcomed new and realistic ideas.

I hate forums, they say they watch the forums but I find that unlikely. from my experience with other games such as WoW or Halo etc its just hard to think someone would take ideas from the gamers

Nah they're watching it, as the dev team are the people who are compiling the list for all to see.

Besides, what would be the point of Alpha and Beta testing if they didnt check the feedback and reports on those forums? :P

Of course, but it's the fact that they're actually making an effort to do so :)

I'm hoping to get one. If I had the money, I'dve bought BF2 or BC2 by now (I rented it for 360 and love it) to add to my games, but.. I kinda doubt I'll get a code lol
Edit: Got a code sometime in the last couple of hours. Guess that's what I get for not checking my email more frequently.

to see if people enjoyed the game in all honestly. I might be wrong they might be watching but its just my personal experience that I havent seen an effort to monitor.

Well, they don't go around asking "Have you found anything yet? What about now? What do you think?" because there's too many people to do that. That's why they always say "For feedback, go to X site/forum"

Thats common sense to know that. Having them reply once in a while to a forum topic or a suggestion wouldnt hurt When I was doing the Rift Beta I never saw someone working for the company say "that is a good idea thank you." Yes it is called feedback we give input and and I personal would like to see someone say something back. As you said too many people so you know they dont look at every piece of feedback.

EA DICE are different. Don't forget about the high expectations that they must meet (being the sequel to BF2) and the fact that they wanna kick Call of Duty's arse ;)

I know they will meet the expectations they are very good at doing that
