My best friend and probably the only person I've gotten a birthday gift from in over ten years got me Gods Eater Burst for my birthday today! I haven't put this game down since and for good reason. It's basically like they took Monster Hunter, made it themed like Persona, and gameplay animations like Crisis Core.. I don't think that's a bad mix at all.

If anyone has a PS3 as has the Ad Hoc application (which is free), feel free to join us for some multiplayer! I'm sure I'll put 400+ hours into this game like I did Monster Hunter: FU.

happy birthday what a game to recieve this game is amazing, how about that intro song i cant bring myself to skip it when i start this game up.

the thing that seperates this appart from other games like it is characters theres more story in this game rather then just farming mats for upgrades i think that really does this title credit.

Thanks everyone! All the birthday wishes mean a lot to me. Gods Eater is a great game and that title song is amazing. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and love how it's a story as well as a farming game because I will/have repeated missions at least ten times to get materials before I continue. XD

For once, the cake wasn't a lie. It was real, chocolaty, and even had a hint of raspberry. mmmmm..
