Not too many details yet, but to have it confirmed is awesome; Tis my favorite game of all time so I'm pretty excited for this.

man, thats pretty great, after seeing that, I had to get a copy of it on ebay. so I finished that game within 2 weeks. was quite long. (6/11/11) -- when I finished it

all expecting it? this one took me completly off guard, ive never seen a single post on a forum asking for this to be remade... ff7? 9? but not 10, having said that it was good news id love to play through that again in widescreen hd, will be great fun.

Well, it's just being remastered in HD, not really a remake.

Lots of 'PS2 HD Collections' (like MGS, GoW, SotC, etc) have been popping up and a Final Fantasy Collection has been one of the most requested and discussed from what I've heard/read; If SE were only going to remaster one, FFX would be the obvious choice so I figured most fans were either hopeful or assumed it was only a matter of time.

That will be a good story to relive in HD, always kinda identified my relationship with my father as being like Tidus/Jecht. I want the game to allow us easier travel, but if not won't keep me from seeing this story again.

Maybe one day they will put my favorite battle system ever to a new story ( Final Fantasy Tactics).

I actually would prefer a FF12 remaster...the graphics are great but they're so jagged, and the sound is incredibly compressed.

yeah, it was to show the power of the ps3. It really hurt when they came out and said there were no plans to remake the game, especially after the failure of 13. The RPG genre is slowly dying

Was a tech demo actually, but it might as well have been an April Fools joke.. To be honest, if the only upgrade they gave it was analog control I'd be a happy man, I hate the damn D-Pad -.-

I bought it on the PSN for way cheaper than the shops around my apartment were selling it for. Its pretty awesome playing it over again even though its the same game on a different console.
