I can't wait for this game aswell. It's one of those games where you can spend hours on and not accomplish anything. They need to hurry and announce the release date.

They'll prolly announce it for fall 2012 or spring 2013. Depending if they used the GTA4 engine or making a new one or a revamped GTA4 engine.

Hopefully it's a whole new engine, I didn't get into GTA 4 like I did the others.

and is it just me or does the main character look like Tommy Vercetti from vice city?

Well does it really matter if you got into 4. It's not like 5 has to be like 4 just cause they use similar engines. I imagine they may use the engine in some way again considering how much 4 cost. iirc the latest midnight club and rdr also used 4's engine. so it'll be chill.

I cant wait, I really love the gta franchise. I wonder if they will keep the dark feelings of gta 4 or go back to the happy days of vice city.

just did a little research on how engines work and found out using the same engine basically means nothing lol. So, definitely looking forward to GTA 5

Not sure about this one, would have to see some gameplay first. Either way it will probably great and a big hit. Rockstar games only seem to get better as each game goes by!

I wouldn't mind buying GTA IV again, just for that overhaul. Hopefully car customization returns! And I really want to see more interaction with AIs.

People have been saying there is an easter egg inside of the trailer that hints the release date is May 24th.
