Angry Birds tops 500 million dls

Rovio's mega-popular "Angry Birds" game has surpassed 500 million downloads, an astounding achievement for what was already the world's most popular mobile game. In fact, Angry Birds devotees worldwide play 300 million minutes of the game every day, the company says.



Pretty crazy, wish they didn't lol. I'm so sick of seeing all the random new Angry Birds merchandise cluttering stores.

Exactly. You rush through the first two stories no prob, get stuck halfway through the others and quit lol it's what happened to me anyways

I can't believe everyone hasn't play this lol. I beat the free version a year or so ago. Never bought the full game, didn't think it was that fun.

Gah, I was addicted for a while there but then my iPod crashed and I had to restore it to factory settings and it lost my progress and the game. Pissed me off but I bought it again but it just hasn't been the same having to replay so many levels I'd already passed. }:\

I saw someone playing it on the Subway today. I felt compelled to ask "can I try" - but didn't because it looked like the game was frustrating him.

It's only frustrating if you play too long at one time. haha Typical of most games, I'd say. ;)

I just got this as the Chrome app, it really is addictive. I just played for 20 minutes, felt like no more than 5 mins.

I'm already doing badly tonight in life, this made me waste another 20.

Good thing it's daylight savings, I get to have an hour back later. Phew.
