Here's my top 5 complaints about Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim:
Where are the NPC markers on the compass? Sure, they don't help you determine which NPC you're walking towards and they may clutter up the compass a bit, but it's really annoying having to search every room in the castle to try and find the Jarl or his Housecarl... This was present in Fallout 3, why the step backwards?
Why can't I mark any of the miscellaneous quests as my active quest? Ok, so I can mark them as the active quest but there's no quest arrow on the compass or even the map. This problem mixed with the NPC one makes the quests to go find/talk to a specific NPC annoying to say the least.
PLEASE stop freezing! I'm very thankful for autosave but roaming the wilderness presents a problem if you're going to freeze every time I kill a pack of wolves. I don't want to spend 10 minutes exploring without entering or exiting a building only to have you freeze and set me back 10 minutes. I have things to do besides play you, Skyrim, and at this rate I'll be finished with you at about the same time that the next gen consoles come out.
Don't auto-increment my save files. I get very self conscience when the save file reads, "Save Game 87" and I've only put 10 hours in. This isn't something that's broken with Skyrim, just a personal quirk. I don't like seeing that I've saved the game 100 times, especially when I'm doing it because the game keeps freezing.
This is another small complaint, but why isn't cooking a skill that can be leveled up? Collecting ingredients is similar to alchemy and creating the recipes is like smithing, both of those things have skill trees and affect your level progression.
I think it is funny, the first to are incorrect and I never had any problems with freezing. Hmmm, mad that the game counts how many times you save? who cares lol...
Seems like to me the game is perfection.
