Here's my top 5 complaints about Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim:

Where are the NPC markers on the compass? Sure, they don't help you determine which NPC you're walking towards and they may clutter up the compass a bit, but it's really annoying having to search every room in the castle to try and find the Jarl or his Housecarl... This was present in Fallout 3, why the step backwards?

Why can't I mark any of the miscellaneous quests as my active quest? Ok, so I can mark them as the active quest but there's no quest arrow on the compass or even the map. This problem mixed with the NPC one makes the quests to go find/talk to a specific NPC annoying to say the least.

PLEASE stop freezing! I'm very thankful for autosave but roaming the wilderness presents a problem if you're going to freeze every time I kill a pack of wolves. I don't want to spend 10 minutes exploring without entering or exiting a building only to have you freeze and set me back 10 minutes. I have things to do besides play you, Skyrim, and at this rate I'll be finished with you at about the same time that the next gen consoles come out.

Don't auto-increment my save files. I get very self conscience when the save file reads, "Save Game 87" and I've only put 10 hours in. This isn't something that's broken with Skyrim, just a personal quirk. I don't like seeing that I've saved the game 100 times, especially when I'm doing it because the game keeps freezing.

This is another small complaint, but why isn't cooking a skill that can be leveled up? Collecting ingredients is similar to alchemy and creating the recipes is like smithing, both of those things have skill trees and affect your level progression.

I think it is funny, the first to are incorrect and I never had any problems with freezing. Hmmm, mad that the game counts how many times you save? who cares lol...

Seems like to me the game is perfection.

People will find any single little thing to whine and complain over. I saw a review rating Skyrim 3/10 because they didn't like the 3rd-person animations, or the 1st-person ones, so they couldn't bear to go past level 9. Also that there wasn't enough variety in the difficulties to really personalize the experience, it was either too easy or too hard.

Gimme a break. Play the damn game. People freaked out at the realistic graphics of hockey on the SNES. Don't complain about how it looks now. The story is what makes the game.

LOL Wow, really… if those are that persons top 5 complaints… sounds like a pretty good game to me :P

And yea, the computer freezing part? Don’t buy a game your computer can’t handle, and then blame it on the game… D’oh! >_<

the save things are not even a problem, who cares about how many times you ahve saved the game. In quake 4 I saved almost always, mostly because I hate walking longer areas again if I died(I got over 100 saves).

Lol Apparently this person thinks they’re uber badass…. but when he sees how many times he has to save it makes him feel less manly ;)

But yea, I agree- that’s not even a relevant problem. I know when I play games like this I save *all* the time cause ya never know O_O

For me its often that I save all the time or that I forget to save for a very long time. then I die and have to restart from the beginning again. :p

Id rather save often and be called a noob than not saving and be forced to replay 15 minutes cause I died.

Saaaaame here lol And it took me learning that lesson the hard way many times before I finally learned that I heart quicksave :P
