HDMI Troubles

I used HDMI cables with my PS3 for the first time last night on my parents 52" HD tv for a party. Later, I go back to my old 28" Standard tv, and no signal is picked up from the AV cords that came in the original back when I got the system. How do I change it so that the system looks for the AV cables instead of the HDMI ones?

Might be in your System Settings on the PS3, that's where it is on Xbox. But actually, it should be automatic. Make sure the HDMI cable is unplugged and all the A/V cables are in nice and tight. But if that's all good, just go check your settings. Should be in there somewhere.

Thank you, it was within the setting. I had to go to the display setting and say that I wanted to use the D-Component. When the HDMI cable was first plugged in, it picked them up automatically, but for some reason it didnt do the same with the AV ones.

I think if you restart your PlayStation while and plug it all in then turn it on it should change automatically

Should maybe, but it didn't when I did the same thing as Stan.
