Thanks to Snaju (http://www.Snaju.com) (Systems Normal All Jacked Up), Gamers Forum once again has a Teamspeak server. As some of you may know, my home server burned out several months ago and most of the GF Servers services have been stopped. Snaju.com has decided to provide us sponsor us with a small Teamspeak server. In addition to the Teamspeak server, we also have a Mumble server for the first time in our history.
Feel free to use these servers whenever. Both servers have 15 slots each, if one is full, just move to the other. If we find that we need more space, we will get more space!
Server info:
Mumble:
Hostname: mum.gamers-forum.com
Port: 64741
IP: 76.74.248.61
1. mum.gamers-forum.com:64741 (mumble://mum.gamers-forum.com:64741/?version=1.2.3)
2. 76.74.248.61:64741 (mumble://76.74.248.61:64741/?version=1.2.3)
To connect to the mumble server, you can use the hostname plus the Port, or IP plus the port, either will work fine. The hostname is set up so you can easily remember the name. Clicking the links should open up the correct application and get you connected right away.
Teamspeak 3:
Hostname: ts3.gamers-forum.com:9016
IP: 76.74.248.61:9016
1. ts3.gamers-forum.com:9016 (ts3server://ts3.gamers-forum.com:9016)
2. 76.74.248.61:9016 (ts3server://76.74.248.61:9016)
The same goes for the TS3 server. You can use either the hostname or IP to connect, they will both take you to the same server. Clicking the links should open up the correct application and get you connected right away.
Moderators will get administrator privileges on both servers, just try to get on when I’m on and I’ll do so right away. You can also register with the mumble server and PM me your username and I can do it whether you are online or not.
Well, as promised, you have a way to vocally communicate with your fellow gamers once again. If you have trouble with any of these services, please let me know.
Once again, special thanks go to Snaju (http://www.Snaju.com) for sponsoring us with both servers. If you want your own server, Snaju is the place to get it. They have my recommendation.
