Anyone else affected by this storm? I love it :3

Not us. We saw rain and it's pretty warm out. Or was warm out when I got home 2 hours ago. Temperature dropped quite a bit.

We already saw snow in October, haven't seen any in November yet. Probably will see it back in December.

I'm glad you have winter tires. I don't. My tires don't even work properly in the sun, let alone snow. But I don't drive as much as I used to anyway.

Usually it snows quite a bit up here where I live. Strangely, we've been pretty much spared to this point...

Everyone in my house feels the world is ending lol

I wish it'd snow here :\. We had an early October snowfall this year, but it melted the next day and hasn't done anything since, actually got up to the 70s Thanksgiving day (which was ****in sweet) but it's since dropped back down to the low 40s/upper 30s and if it's gonna be that cold I want some snow, dammit.

My face when you said your area got pretty white
http://myfacewhen.com/65/

Lol well it depends on where you're from I guess. We're sitting at about ~1 foot, which is weird because the areas around us have 2-4, we just got left out :(

Where I used to live currently has about 3 feet or so, as I've heard, about 3 hours away.

Last year, the snow was so bad where I'm at now. There were banks from the snow-plows that got up to 7 feet high just on the main roads. We got a 3 1/2 foot dump over night. You know those buttons you hit at crosswalks to walk across the street? You were reaching down mid calf to hit them lol. Was a sweet year.

Ahhh that makes sense. That's like a full on whiteout for you then :laugh1: I wish I had that weather :( It's been warm here at around 25-35F haha. It can get down to -40 (the same for C and F woohoo!) in the winter, and usually does for about a week or two.

Makes me wish I lived in the States sometimes.

We have snow here, it came two days ago and I thought it was enough. So now in the closest days a snow storm will pass here with at least 10 centimeters(probably more) where I live.

Earlier they said that it would be lots of snow and freezing this winter, but when I look out the window its green and (relatively) warm and rain, lots of rain. It came a little snow earlier but it disapeared, the only places there are still snow is in so called chill spots.

Damn, you had it easy! I went to the strictest school in my area. All surrounding schools would be canceled after just a few flurries, but we'd be lucky not to have school after getting hammered with 3 feet -.-

School never got cancelled for snow. Or anything.-_-

The only time I couldnt go to school because of unusual things was the day after a storm. The school didnt have any power, but it was still open, the reason I couldnt go was that our road was full of fallen trees, I could ahve used it to have fun at home but the power was out here to. -_-(most boring week of my life)

Also, I think around here its illegal to send kids to school when there is no power…. I could be wrong though.

Yeah that sucked, the only other memory from another "similar" strange thing was when the cleaners did go on strike. NO ONE cleaned the school for about one week, it was horrible.

And yeah we mostly do get some snow, but still people never learn, its like everyone surprised when we get any snow and its almost chaos sometimes :p.

I honestly haven't really seen snow this entire winter.
In Fort Lee, Virginia -- it hasn't snowed once.

On the way home for Christmas exodus, it 'flurried' for about 30 minutes and never stuck or got heavy. Meh...
