My guinea pig does that but rolls around in his hay. But then that crap gets all over the place because he gets super excited. :P

Awwwww, so effin’ cute! My bff had a few chinchillas she rescued. They’re so cuddly and soft and adorable. God, Im such a sucker for cute animals >.>

Pretty funny. How come they take dust baths? No water? Are they like gremlins? Don't get them wet? LOL!

Well, they naturally live in the sides of mountains/rocks, where there's not a lot of water. Reading up on it, their fur is so thick that when they do get wet, it penetrates too deeply and doesn't dry properly (unless you use a hair dryer or something), which makes fungus grow. They apparently roll around in volcanic rock dust that penetrates the fur and cleans them that way :3

Yeah, one of my ex-boyfriends had one and it was so adorable :3

It would jump off walls, but slam into doors, haha.

one time my girlfriend and like 2 other friends were over, the chimpu was running around and she didn't see it and almost stepped on it, so it got scared and ran super fast, jumped off like four walls and crashed into my other friend's foot and just sat there stunned for a second

Ugh, this is too cute! My hamster tried to dust bathe once, and he did it, but I guess he didn't get into it because he never attempted it again. XD
