You also need RAM, and a case.

Bobs killer new PC - Gamers Forum (http://www.gamers-forum.com/showthread.php?t=18076)
Thats a link to a thread when I was building a new PC. It may help you quite a bit. Personally I think the 6850 I got would be a cheaper option for you (saving around $56) as well as being more than enough power. I can run any game on max settings easy with it.
The only thing that I really dont think would cut it from that list now is the RAM. The prices on that did massively drop so its worth getting at the very least 8GB DDR3. The RAM I have listed is pretty good at 1600mhz but I already added more and dont know if games like skyrim would work without the extra 4GB.
Thats also a complete list of everything you need besides a cd drive (you generally want one to install the OS) and a monitor of some sort. Just compare parts and upgrade where you have extra cash to spend or where you want to save a few bucks.

Hey Mate, You need a case i reccomend for gaming a Corsair 600T, Or if your Water Cooling (You Don't Really Need To Unless Your Overclocking And Stuff) Use The Obsidion Graphite. Get At Least 4 GB of ram I'd Reccomend 8 GB, 650 Watt or over Power Supply i'd say atleast 700 Watt. 1 TB Hard Drive if u need heaps of storage. AMD Phenom II Processors are cool if u want to overclock. Renmember to get a CD Rom Lawlz.

Or you could get a crappy generic case and modify it to your own liking. You could save some money. If young have the time and a little talent.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live and where are you buying these parts? Some of them look a bit on the expensive side for what they are, but the RAM is really jumpin out at me. 165 bucks, even for 8 gigs, is insane. Are you buying just a single stick? 2 sticks of 4GB would be a better option.

I dont know if you will be needing a 2TB hard drive. I have over 250 games installed on 1TB and still have 100GB storage space left. Also with two hard drives you could load a different OS on each one and play around a bit with Linux/windows.
I have an external 2TB that I got for $100 from best buy, so I put all my music and movies on that anyways. That way I can have it for any computer.

Graphics card = Gigabyte Radeon HD 6870 $189.99
