I got Modern Warfare 3 the day it came out, i also bought the game guide for it just to make it easier for me to get all the intel. When i looked for the intel with the book it made me feel stupid because they are hidden in plain sight. The campaign is all around great, many explosions, slow mo, and great story line. Also survival mode is great too, me and my friends will just hang on a snowy day and see what round we can get to. For the multiplayer, i don't really like the maps, 1. because there are too many campers, i understand that that is tactical warfare, but it gets annoying when you are on a great streak and then you run into a bad area where everybody is getting picked off by a dude in a building. And two, they just don't feel like Modern Warfare maps, must be because of the whole Activision/InfinityWard ordeal. The campaign was better than the Black Ops and MW2 campain in my opinion.
