Most of the world's oxygen comes from algae in the oceans and other bodies of water. The rainforest is actually one of the largest producers of carbon dioxide in the world. I'm sure that even if we did remove the rainforests then we would still have more than enough oxygen for everyone. And the price of wood would probably drop too.
