September 2007 Stats

Well september stats updated quicker than I thought It would. Usually takes 24 - 48 hrs to sum it up in cpanel but was done in 15 hrs today :D So here is the comparison from the month of august. For those of you who thought we did better, Good guess because we did much better in some parts of it. Well here are the stats for the month of September 2007.

Posts Made: 3,110
Highest Post Count for 1 Day: 283 (September 20th)
Threads Made: 286
Highest Thread Count for 1 Day: 30
New Member Achieved: 79

Traffic Stats:

Unique Visitors: 6,651
Total Visitors (Unique visitors + Returning Visitors): 15,760
Pageviews: 121,773

September was a very good month for forum activity and we broke a few records. It was the first month to get over 3000 posts and we averaged at well over 100 posts per day as that was our goal for a bit. We also had 79 new members that month, broke the record by one from august but hey, its still something.

Third record broken is the 283 posts for that one day, we have had 200+ post days before but never above 250 so thats another record. Fourth record is the number of unique visitors. That was the first time to get that high number of unique visitors for one month, other months we were from 5000 to 5700 and etc..

October is also getting a good start with 6 new members already today. Hopefully we can aim for 100 new members today and set the bar high for the coming months.

if this continues we can go over 200 lol :D today's registration stats tied with the all time high for new members for one day which is 7 set a few weeks back in september

yup, cant do it even if we missed one member :D we had 9 new members for october 1st - new record right there but it still has a bit to catch up with september

yea lol, i know one where i used to be a mod that shut down - they had nearly 5,000 members and 10,000 total posts in a year and a half :D its not even up to show off on there now :(

I am talking about BIG Sites. Like the one I used to be on till it got hacked. It has 15,000 members and a total of over 45,000 posts but in a month we have definetly made more posts than it ;-)

It's a gaming forum too. I wont say what one but it's been around for 2 years and is slowly getting quieter (could have something to do with me leaving lol)

I'm helping to make this place more active. And the first load of threads I posted were from my old SMF Forum which died.
I can't find as many threads anymore

yea, a lot of help from you :D you were the fasted rising "super star" at one point of the forum lol, almost threatened to take over number one poster spot and then won that domain lol, the last domain i gave out too on this forum then moved to games

lol up - then we can get to 100k posts per month in no time haha

well we've actually been doing that since june i think - beat in post count and member registrations :D so it is becoming a trend on this forum and hopefully this continues

lol we had nearly 2500 posts back in january, its always a group effort, a few posters just tend to make the stats a bit higher - thats where you and scott come in :)

advertising going well, over 1100 unique visitors in less than 5 days, we could probably do better than last month and we probably will and i have to spend some more $$ on ads since i got access back to my old pc but i have to find the right places to spend

yes lol, my goal is to get at least 10k unique visitors for a month and i've been working hard to get that too

when we first started i think the first month's unique was around 150 or so lol, then i'd be happy with 500 a month now 5000 isnt even enough lol, need more, it just makes me feel good that all the work i put into this forum pays off at the end :-) its a good feeling
