so this an old mod for steam that got remade recently. Apparently the project to remake it was lent 55K and repaid it within 5:30 of it launching. So that's doing pretty well. '

I came home after work, saw this game, got it because it looked like something different, and finished it in probably 2-3 hours.
Its not really a game per say as a narrative journey through an island and some caves. But it was still something I would recommend to others. The next time someone argues that all games are essentially the same this will be the first thing that pops into my mind in defense of that statement.I liked it. Now, I have pretty sweet 42 screen as a monitor, so I don't know if that made it easier to enjoy. But when I turn off the lights and let myself wander through a game, I find myself in the same zone I get when Im reading a really good book. But a game has even more power to create detail in a world. That seemed to be what this game was about.
If parting with $10 to try something new sounds like your cup of tea, give it a try. If you want to look at some of the places I explored check out the 15 screenshots I uploaded here:
