600 print run. Buy it, 68 dollar price will be valued at over 200 in 5 years!

I wonder if this is going to be licensed by Nintendo, If not I don't see them allowing this to happen without getting some type of benefit from it.

That's cause it hasn't been released yet ;)

I believe the article says they got the rights they need for it? But I don't remember.... but yea, Im sure Nintendo's gotta be getting something.

Awwwww yea, me too! :D $60 is pretty steep, but totally worth it, imo

Oh yea it's expensive, but for us "nerds" this game will be like an old veteran car for enthusiasts, it's a mona lisa for art lovers, and it is the stairway to heaven for rock fans.
(Okey a bit different since this is a new game for a old console but still, (Even though the game itself is actually old but just released now.))

It does not matter much to most people, but for some gamers it's a great piece of art.

You should do a playthrough of it and upload yourself playing it on youtube

That is a great idea! I still have my old consoles hooked up...even though I rarely play them. I will definitely have to check this game out. I wonder if this will start a trend for other developers to create games for older systems.

doubtful unless the market expands. there isn't much a market for 60 dollar games for older systems hence the 600 print run. which im sure will have a hard time running through

haha...yeah i agree that its doubtful for a craze in $60 16 bit games. surely they would keep the prices low since the market would be so small. possibly around the same prices as some of the ipod apps/games?

I'd consider buying this if I didn't sell my old SNES I got when I was 3 for $20... I really really regret that. I'd totally pay $500 to get it and my N64 back. Sure, I can buy another for cheaper, but I can't really say "Hey, grandkids, look at my SNES! I've had since I was half your age, and it's still in better shape than your Playstation 12!". Now all I can say is "Yeah, I call myself an oldschool gamer who got rid of his SNES for $20 to buy DS games... Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go jump off a bridge."

But anyway, it's awesome to see somebody developing a SNES game. I always wondered if anyone would do that... and now they have. That's just raw awesomeness. Rawesome, I guess you could say...

Ughhhh same with my old Atari 2600.

But just think of it as a learning experience for your kids! That way they won't make the same mistake ;)

I wonder how many of these games will sell..... at a limited print of 600, it doesn't sound like they expect too many to sell.
