ZOMG…. I’ve finally set my official wedding date!! I’m so excited, and I had to share with you all :)

Will be June 9th, 2012 :D (yes, the 6/9 was on purpose! haha ;))

The theme is going to be zombies. It’s going to be so much fun, I can’t wait!

Actually, yes! :P One time for Halloween, I was Mike Myers. My mom’s bf at the time was a plumber, and happened to have a blue one piece suit kinda deal, just like he wears in the movies. And he took it out to the woods, threw it in the mud, and drove over it a bunch of times with his truck. Ended up ripped up and covered in mud. We threw some fake blood on it, and it looked aweeeeeesome. We’re gonna do the same with our outfits! :D

Figured I’d update a little on the wedding since that’s what’s been taking all of my time recently! So, we took our engagement photos. Since the wedding is zombie themed, we figured we’d tie in the engagement photos to create a sort of background story as to how we became zombies. So our engagement photos start out all with us doing all the typical corny poses. Then it leads into pictures of us looking behind us like we heard a noise in the woods. Then the photographer switches views from the cameraman to the zombie and theres pics as if he’s walking from the woods up behind us, this is where the turn around with the confused look pics come into play. Then the rest of the pics are from the zombie point of view attacking us. They came out awesomeeeee. He only sent me a 2 so far, but I’ll add the rest when I get them :)

The plan is to take all of the engagement photos and put them in a digital picture frame at the wedding so everyone can see the ‘attack’ haha

Ok, so finally got some pictures ready! :P Im just going to link the album versus every picture so I don’t crash everyone’s comps xD Don’t think they need too much description. Have a picture of the flower girl (who was throwing flower petals and fake bloody fingers) and ring bearer (who was wayyyy more interested in picking up the fingers off the ground and chucking them…. it was adorable LOL). Me and my grandfather (who was totally into the zombie role more then anyone else) walking the aisle. The ceremony. After pics of the whole wedding party. The inside of the reception, which the venue crew did an *awesome* job decorating for us. They put spooky candles on the table and netting and stuff, and also did purple lighting with stars for a spooky effect. They went all out and above. And then pics of the brain jar centerpieces and the cake and topper :)

As for stories. Oh jeez, let’s see…. My grandpa was amazing zombie. Everyone loved that. And then my husband’s dad married us. He started with “Mawr-ridge” (from the Princess Bride)…. at one point the ring bearer was being loud and screaming, so he stops the ceremony, yells “SHUT UP KID!” and then goes back. Also hilarious xD I think the best part of the whole wedding was the photo booth we had. Ill have to share some of those pics here as well. Everyone that went in got a picture strip, and we got one also. Looooots of drunken zombie pics LOL The ceremony and reception went by so incredibly quickly. However, my family and friends are partiers, so at 10 when the reception was over, we all went to the bar that was at the hotel the wedding was at. We went outside for a few mins and this other wedding had just arrived at the bar. They all wanted pics with us. At one point my drunken arse friend told the husband of that wedding how much hotter my husband was. Ah, it was hilarious. Hung out at the bar until 1am-ish. The hubby and I went back to our room, as my friend screamed down the hall at us, “Wonder what they’re going to doooooooo. he’s going to deflower her!!” at the top of his lungs. Was some awesome, good times :D

We did save the top for our anniversary ;) And thank god, because I didnt even get to eat it at the wedding. However, my Aunt made a Khalua grooms cake, and brough vanilla coffee beer to go with it... I did at least get to try that :P
