Schwinn bike?

My friend came over to pick up some clothes he left at my house just a couple minutes ago. We were talking and some reason he told me that he saw a Schwinn bike for sale on the side of the road. I asking him was a Schwinn bike was and he lol'd for a little while, then left. Did I miss out on something during my childhood lol? wtf. I googled it, and it looks like a ****y old bike to me.

Schwinn once was a very large bike manufacture, now most of them are just worth known for being worth money.
