E3 2012

[Trunks]

Figured this would be a good place to talk about what we want to see or what we saw on E3 this year. Right now they're talking about Halo 4/Xbox 360 on spike. Just saw the halo 4 trailer, OMG I WANT IT

Games they already showed:

Splinter Cell: Black List, Game reminds me a lot of Metal Gear Solid, never played a splinter cell before, but I could see my self getting this one. Looks pretty awesome. Also has kinect voice commands.

Fifa 13: has kinect voice so if you cuss you get a pentaly, that's pretty funny lol.

Maddan 13: Call plays, hike and hurry up offensive with voice. Kind of cool, about time my crappy kinect can get some use.

Fable The Journey : Only saw trailer, but OMG looks like a completely knew game, they really changed directions from the other, looks like the kinect will be a huge part of this one too.

Gears of War Judgement: Lame teaser trailer, didn't get to see much gameplay / action.

Forza Horizon : Looks like they're bringing need for speed to Forza, they added street races and night races. Looks pretty epic though, I wouldn't mind a simulation street racing type of game.

Xbox Kinect: more easily to use voice commands on dashboard and applications, always adding 12 different languages.

NBA, MLB, NHL ESPN thing so you can watch sports news on the xbox. Could be cool, but PC and TV would be faster IMO. You can watch it live in HD on xbox now, kinda sweet I suppose. But why not just watch it on TV lol.

Now they're just showing more lame stuff about kinect, making it adaptable with your tablets and stuff.

More halo 4 o:, a teaser trailer, but it was awesome.

Internet Explorer is coming to Xbox this year, about freaking time. Fully functional with kinect voice commands though.

I just finished watching it, I thought it was pretty good. Southpark look amazing, along with splinter cell. Halo 4 made me orgasm. A lot of it was new Kinect stuff, which is okay, cause right now mine just collects dust. Black ops 2 wasn't that impressive, they just ended on it because it's call of duty. IMO, if you don't have / like the kinect then you probably won't be to happy with Xbox at E3.

Ubisoft announced a Wii U exclusive game:

ZombiU is a FPS Zombie Survival exclusive Wii U game.

Killer Freaks from Outer Space doesn't exist anymore, it was announced last year. But Ubisoft changed it's mind because they found out that killing Aliens is not as much fun as killing Zombies. So we have now a challenging survival Shooter instead. It will still have the humour of Killer Freaks btw..

Well I just saw Sony's and EA's conference (Thanks Departed) and just wow. I can't wait for the Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls, I know it received alot of hate but still, I thought it was awesome. Though The actress really sounded forced in the "I know, They're coming" and "Let's go Ivan, I Think they get the message" Lines. as for EA's I really don't care about Simcity But Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3 looked amazing. Why they decided to make Prophet never shut up, I have no idea. Still, is that all the conferences? or will there be more to come?

EDIT: Also I forgot to mention Watch_Dogs looks mindblowing the whole intro "Everything is connected" thing got my heart racing. It seems so unique

Other than that, the Community alpha will be starting soon after E3, where you can check out and test some new features and provide feedback on said features.
I think bohemia will show us the E3 gameplay they offered journalists at E3 on their homepage after E3, that is if it dosent show up on E3 itself.

Medal of Honour: Warfighter.

It's been done. The Unreal Engine totally made it feel realistic, in the 2010 release of Medal of Honour. It gave the game a totally different feeling from the multiplayer. But now they're going battlefield style? I mean hey, it worked for the multiplayer but that has disappointed me a lot. I'm still gonna buy the game, it still looks promising, but that was BAD.

This is what I think of this years E3(or what Ive seen)

From what Ive seen from the conferences Ubisoft was best with new and fresh games. Nintendo was pretty boring despite being the only one showing the next generation console.

The games I am most interested in are....

Watch dogs: The game looks absolutely stunning and the hacking is a nice twist, lets just hope it will not be another GTA clone.

Halo 4: Its halo and I am actually interested to see what 343 does with the franchise, I like the story so far(it looked pretty epic with the crashing ship), only that they dont ruin the story.

Arma 3: If you know me you could probably guess this one :p, the graphics looks awesome and the animations as well as the controls has been worked on. Also it seems that the game runs better on more mid range computers, or atleast it runs smooth on a good computer. Lets just hope they get the AI and physics right

Dishonored: This looks really interesting with its different gameplay. One thing I like is that you can play the game how you like it, do you want to sneak past everyone or just start a bloodbath you can.

Last of us: I love post apocalyptic games and this looks promising, what Ive seen from the game it seems to be pretty scripted though.

Apart form that the game Beyond seems to be interesting but I havent really seen any gameplay yet, the same with asscreed.

I thought so too, But I've looked into it alot more and it surprisingly isn't that scripted, check the end of Gamestops E3 day 3 coverage. (The wrap up I think it's called)

The enemies literally decide how to attack you.
But I'm not sure what you mean by 'scripted' though.

I mean, like, On rails. Like no matter what you do an enemy will walk out of that door at this time or something, so. mor elike predicable. I've seen some gameplay and I agree the AI is near perfect. Like, if you use silent takedowns the enemy won't know where you are, or small differences like. Closing a door first, before engaging an enemy. would help, but my god, I am so excited for this XD

They could really carry the popularity of Zombies way out if they just expanded on its simplicity like adding attachments mystery boxes, and being able to Packapunch to more than one level. However they're going to be making it a full length campaign which defeats the idea of Zombies for it to be simple. Also they must be redirecting funds to the main campaign which will diminish its popularity. Thoughts?

Yeah, the main campaign will be set in the year 2025 however I'm assuming BO2 Zombies will be set in the events from World at War. I don't have any evidence, but there's no way that the storyline will tie in with BO1 Zombies just cause the World was blown up in Moon.
