Max Payne 3 is a third person shooter that focuses around the mercenary gunslinger and namesake of the game, Max Payne. The game would be pretty a standard shooter if they didn't include the ability to slow time and shoot. This mechanic is fun although sometimes it isn't necessary in your missions. The story was nice and had good pacing however most of it was delivered in annoying cut-scenes that are unskippable and distorted! THe music is okay and the level design is very liner. The game is a rental at best.


PROS: Nice story and fun bullet time mechanics


Cons: Too many cinematics, Dumb camera effects, Unremarakble characters and music, and very linear.

I like the movies and thought it was nice. I would give it a B- just for how draining it is

I thought it was one of the better games I have played recently. I had tons of fun with it, although I thought it was a little too easy and the sound was really glitchy on the PS3.

My problem with Max Payne 3 was that it became very repetitive very quickly and I became extremely bored with the story line very quickly.

I would probably give MP3 a D+.

Yea same here with the sound. But the pacing to the game was nice and the little easter eggs like playing the piano and the cop was nice.

It was nice, I agree on the needless lever cut scenes. and those distortion effects were annoying
