Best Old Video Game Series

Final Fantasy, because they were really important in the development of RPGs, probably my favorite gaming genre, and Megaman, because I just always liked the series (even though I suck at it)

Crap I voted Zelda which isn't a bad thing, but I thought it was a pole about the origenal games. If its about the series then Final Fantasy or Super Mario were my top picks. IMO The origanal Zelda was a vast game with alot of depth at its time of realese. I guess the same thing could be said about FF 1 as well::-)

Mega Man Series is the only thing I voted.

I started to really get into gaming because of 3D games, more specifically Ocarina of Time and Mario 64. Before and sometime after that 2D games never interested me but I always loved Mega Man even though Mega Man is to be slowly dying because of Capcom.

I picked Legend of Zelda and FF. Of course I never got to enjoy them as a kid because of stingy parents (I had no game systems up to the age of 15). Not counting my first laptop which was given to me when I was 13. It wasn't even made for gaming. Recently I traded in my (bros) xbox with a gamecube. He didn't want it anymore so he gave it to me when he moved away. My sis's fiance lended me two zelda games so I have yet to play them even though I watched a friend of mine play it on my system. It looked fun. I had and played FF 13 on sis's 360 before I got my 360 last christmas (my first legit system that is actually 100% mine other than the DS two Christmases ago).

I chose Super Mario. I grew up with it, playing with my older sister a lot. It came a long way from the original Nintendo system.
