PGR4 or Forza 2 [Archive]

Which do you prefer? Arcade Racer or Realistic Racer?

I think I'm going to go with PGR4, Because I thought Forza 2 was boring because it was just too realistic

But it only has 15 tracks and am I the only one who has noticed that the music in the game only works for the menus and isn't in the races? which just makes the game more boring.

Forza 2, loads of cars, tons of modding, it's awesome.
Motorstorm better than both? lmao... that's for ps3 anyway and forza2 and pgr4 aren't out on ps3 :P I love track racing and being able to mod my car. If Forza were to do like an island or city free-driving thing like TDU or nfsug2 and higher do i would find it to be a really awesome game...
Track racing bores me pretty quick.

PGR4 ofcourse. Forza 2 isnt that much of a good game because of the limted tracks...

where it lacks in tracks it makes up in cars and all the possible things you can get for the car, plus more realistic driving... i love having realistic driving

PGR4 may have less cars but atleast you make your own tracks and its ment to be alot harder :/

It hated Forza 2, I thought it was boring. The thing that made it worse for me was the last racing game I played was PGR3 so I found it difficult to go from Crazy Drifts to realistic Racer.

Well one of the reasons u said u didnt like it was because of the realism. Alot of racers love realism in racing games so.. i dunno why you dont like it even if you drift alot. I guess you wont be a very good driver :) lol ojk

I just didn't like the feel of the cars, I'm a PGR Master, So when I played Forza 2 it just feels too different. I also prefer to rack up kudos in PGR when drifting Forza has nothing like that.

motorstorm isnt as good as forza 2. it doesnt have as many cars or as good graphics and you cant put loads of stuff on your car in it.

But thats means you can play your own music which is better :D

playing your own music can be better.. but on racing games i dont mind listening to the in-game music.

It isn't better all the time. Don't you get fed up listening to the same albums? and having to set the album names yourself sucks.

You could never only play rally games. There's only 2 good ones every 2 years. This year it was Dirt and Sega Rally and 2 years ago it was WRC and Colin Mcrae.

There was also Motorstorm this year. And maybe they like Ridge Racer or Wipeout

Ridge Racer is an arcade Racer and I am not quite sure what Wipeout is lol

I'm not a fan of rally games either. But I loved Rallisport challenge 2 although that was a while ago.
Flatout is a sort of Destruction Derby game. It's fun and fells like a bit of a Burnout Rip off.

Have you played PGR4 yet? you really must it has better graphics the game is better looking it avoids the clean look of Forza 2 and has believable smooth environments.

i suppose PGR4 and the guys that created Gran Turismo are the same in a way, cause if you combine Tourist Trophy (motor bike version of GT) and GT together then you'd get practically the same thing as PGR4

Looks like it's a tie. I'd choose PGR4 over any other racer. I prefer the arcade racers. Gran Turismo's just too boring.

There is racing games were you try to kill each other. There is Burnout which is great fun. And the not so great full auto.

I liked Forza more. But even it's nothing when compared to Burnout.
