I recently decided I like games that scare me lol. Just looking for some new ones to play, would preferably like them on PC.

So far the games I have:

Dead Space series
Bioshock Series
Metro 2033
Doom series

I don't even know any other games that are have that scary feel. I've played silent hill, but meh. boring. Also watched a friend play Alan wake, reminded me of Silent hill kind of. That's basically all the scary games I can think of, so any others?

They don't really have to be monsters, just those games that are relatively dark, and you're just chilling doing your own thing and then the whole world starts to kill you.

Dead island is not exactly scary, but I have jumped sometimes at moments such as unexpected crawlers jumping up at you. if you get it we can co-op :3.

If you want a scary game play amnesia the dark descent, it will scare you ****less. And maybe the penumbra serie(the predecessor to amnesia)

Ehh, don't know about dead island, I heard bad things about it.

Yes, this is the type of game I was looking for, going to play Penumbra first. Thanks :D

Dead Island was pretty good IMO. A few bits that made me jump in my seat, also a few places that made me think, "I never want to be in this situation". lol

Ughhhhh, don't spend the money on Dead Island. I couldn't even handle playing it for a whole evening, it's terrible. If I could gift it to you via Steam I totally would give you my copy haha

As for Amnesia/Penumbra.... I thought those games sucked balls and weren't scary at all. I was really disappointed. Let me know what you think of it once you've tried it.

Haunting Ground for the PS2, it's a survival horror game. Scares the crap out of you and has you going "Oh no oh no oh nononononononnono AAAAHHHH D: " throughout half the game.

Download SCP Containment Breach, it's free but it's scary.

Also, try to find System Shock 2. It's from 1999, but with a few mods (graphics mod and disable respawning enemies) you won't even be able to tell. It's the spiritual predecessor to Bioshock, but is way better IMO.

Zombie Escape (http://bit.ly/N19UeO)

If you like J-horror I think you will like it.
The slowness and lack of ability to do anything makes it scary.
Also for me, the fact that the gaming screen is so small freaks me out because I feel so exposed to my surroundings when I am plyaing the game.
If someone said "boo!" next to me, i would drop my phone and run.

Hard to believe it has yet to be mentioned, but Condemned Criminal Origins is available on the PC. If you are looking to be spooked, it is certainly the game to do it.

The Fatal Frame series on PS2 always prompts some spooks. Fatal Frame 2 is particularly creepy, if I remember correctly.

I've played Amnesia a little so far. Steam says about an hour a half. But I'm currently lost, I've searched everywhere multiple times, so walking around with nothing happening made me bored and I haven't played it in awhile. The story seems interesting, but nothing exciting happened yet. Will probably have to look at a guide to progress any farther, which I hate doing.

That is exactly why I stopped playing... I got stuck as well, and since I was already bored I just stopped. If you pick it up again and it seems to get interesting, let me know :P

The ZOmbie Escape (http://bit.ly/N19UeO) series on Android seems to scare me.
The low resolutions graphics is just so scary. Like the first RS.
