There will be a partial solar eclipse for the East Coast of North America this coming Sunday at Sunrise. More info can be found here: Rare solar eclipse November 3 how and where to see it | Astro Bob (http://astrobob.areavoices.com/2013/11/01/rare-solar-eclipse-november-3-how-and-where-to-see-it/)

This page here shows some cities around the world that will see it: http://media.skyandtelescope.com/documents/OH2013-Tab04.pdf

There was a Lunar Eclipse a few weeks ago, I saw it but I was not home, didn't get to take any pictures. And Solar Eclipses are very rare, so I'm definitely gonna try to get pictures of this.

I already have it planned to get up to my roof at 5:30 am to set up my scope and camera.

That's pretty sweet, I've never seen a lunar eclipse in person. I tried checking around 6:45, but where the sun rises at my house is a huge hill and a lot of trees, so no luck for me.

Aw. I have to go up to my roof for a clear view, I'm just lucky that my building is the tallest around.

There was a Lunar Eclipse a few weeks ago. They are more common, I saw the last one but I was out and had no time to get my camera.

I also made a short video of the eclipse from today: Solar Eclipse from New York City - Nov 3, 2013 - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV-dkFRvqrE)

The Sun is so much easier to photograph, no need to worry about too much magnification, it's right there.
