I can't change my profile picture?

Whenever I try changing my profile picture, or simply edit my profile, a message comes up, saying that I am not allowed to go through with this.

The message goes as following:

"John, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

What is it that I have done to deserve this?

Hi! To edit your profile settings you must have at least 10 legitimate posts (they count towards your post count, there are some boards that don't), and you must be a member for 24 hours. The same requirements are needed to be met to post links.

They're just in place to prevent spam/bots messing around the forum. So in another day and a few more posts, you'll be able to edit it all just fine :)
