Troubling signs indeed, Microsoft better take steps to correct these problems soon before this situation spirals out of control. Both Sony and Nintendo's first party studios are far more capable then Microsoft Game Studios at the moment to make blockbuster titles! Reliance on outside studios is very risky as we have seen over the past few weeks. Sadly this generation is all about exclusive game content.

That's a good read.

I think people forget that this IS Microsoft we are talking about. THey have built up some goodwill over the past few years, but are still run by the Emperor. I don't expect this, but it wouldn't shock me if they pulled a Dreamcast on us and ended the system early.

Microsoft really needs to start acquiring indie devs to build up their first-party.

heh. when i read this title i thought that some studios we're actually built on quicksand.
