Resident Evil 4 for Wii hits a million (http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=7723&Itemid=2)
That's got to make Capcom happy.
And Nintendo makes it to first place in total software: (http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/nintendo-passes-sony-microsoft-in-software-sales--isuppli-/18354/)
Bloomberg reported that Nintendo has overtaken Sony as the world's largest game manufacturer. In the past 3 months Nintendo has 31% more game sales for Wii and NDS than previous year, with a total of $1.2 billion in sales, comparing to $1 billion for the PlayStation platforms; and $271.9 million for Microsoft's Xbox platform.
In Microsoft's defence, though, they have only one machine on the market versus Nintendo and Sony's respective trips. (Wii/DS/GBA & PS2/PS3/PSP).
I wasn't entirely sure if it meant Nintendo as a first-party game maker, but I'm pretty sure it's total software, considering that Nintendo's first party has always produced and sold a crapload of software, and aside from a couple of IPs, Sony has more relied on 3rd parties
