i really like halo 3's music, it fits it so well. the theme on the first kane and lynch trailer was excellent aswell, really set the mood.


i personally was a bit disapointed in bioshocks, i wanted some real 50s licensed music and the ability to use jukeboxes

When it comes to like, well composed music or something, final fantasy series.

but my favorite game music has also been the tony hawk stuff.

Gears of War (now thats some intense music, perfectly fits the game!)
Ninja Gaiden (NES)
Metal Gear Solid series(especially the theme)
Actaiser (the stages leading to the bosses)
M.U.S.H.A.
The Legend of Zelda series (especially on Ocarina of Time)
Castlevania series

And on the subject of Halo's music, i really think the theme could have been used much better in either three games, especially Halo 3. What i mean is its never as in your face as it should be, not every second of gameplay i mean, but come on it should of at least been VERY present in the last sequence of Halo 3, would have made it much more epic than it was trying to be (if you cant tell i was kinda dissapointed with the last sequence of Halo 3 anyway..).Oh well.
