Yeah it was because the GC was so un-popular and seriously, would you rather they made another Mario game for GC rather than Galaxy?

That's because the PS2 was much more popular than the Gamecube.

And because not many people have PS3's yet.

The ps2 and xbox where better and the wii has backwards compatability. The gamecube wasn't popular becuase it wasn't the best in graphics.

Well who would say that they liked the GC better? The Wii's already got more awesome games.

Yeah I enjoyed mario sunshine. But I did not play my gamecube all that much. Here and there for random games. Resident evil and metroid. But other then that I was playing ps2 for its RPGs.
The Wii seems to be about the same. Fun for multiplayer games with my girlfriend but not that many single player games that I could sink my teeth into.

gamecube was good for its time. but with more powerful competitors such as the ps2 and xbox, it didn't stand a chance.

Because Gamecube sucked in terms of games and sales and Wii prints money even with a less than stellar lineup.

Actually PS2 was last in terms of power and graphics, It didn't stand a chance because PS2 pumped great after great and had ton's average games for the casuals. The Gamecube didn't follow the same path but still made ton's of profit.
