I heard Shane Talk about this rumour on yesterdays 1up yours podcast.
He said i top microsoft exec was on his way out and a top 360 game was being canceld.
I have a feeling like you said that Alan Wake was going to get canceled, and the microsoft exec leaving is probably J. Allard
Unless this stuff is confirmed publically though i take these rumours with a grain of salt.

But if true...how does MS cancel a game, when they need all the games they can get their hands on...bizarre

I dont think its Alan Wake considering how much of the game that has allready been made and even shown off. I am more leaning towards the new Age of Conan game. As for the executive, its proberly Major Nelson.
Come to think of it, it could be the new Banjo game.
