1. Let's say I have a render, how do I blend it in?
How do I put a border around the image, full steps please.

bland in by lowering opacity OR using some options such as soft light or overlay, works pretty well
to put a border - make a new layer - then press ctrl+A to select the whole layer - then you should go to edit and click Stroke - put in 1 pixel (usually good) and choose ur color
i am assuming you are using photoshop and thats what these steps are for

Another way to blend a render into its background is by making the background around the colours of the render.
So if the renders colours are silver and blue, make the background silver and blue.
Another thing you can do (if your background is the same colours as the render).
1. Duplicate the Render Layer 3 times.
2. On the bottom 2 render layers set them to Hardlight
3. On the top render layer set the opacity to around 80.
And border... do what linux suggested.
Note: Again this is for Photoshop.
