The article was a great read. I didn't know much about the console wars during that time period. The article also has some youtube videos of Nintendo/Sega commercial from back in the day. Man are some of those funny as hell. Especially that Japanese/Genesis one.

Yeah I keep reading how crazy it got between Sega and Nintendo. I'm looking forward to part 2. Which fanboy were you during that time?

i lived through it too lol and i was a sega guy :D i had my sega genesis ready to take on any game - but i also had a game boy and game boy color lol, just too bad sega is out of the console business now

NES=Genesis in terms of goodness
And the rest of Sega consoles were made of fail so I didn't bother with them
