Can we set up tourney's on our own or does a site official have to ?

a moderator or admin has to do it, and not all mods have permission - some have to earn it by being here for a certain amount of time -

if we let regular users create tournament and then someone comes around and makes 1000 tournaments, that'll overload the database - can't let that happen :) better safe than sorry but all u have to do is request

i'll set that up later tonite, i plan to work on the arcade a bit in a few mins or an hour - tournaments may interfere so i dont want to take the risk :-)
