lol...i never noticed either - my eyes are on mario and the other bugs on there lol...didnt care about the landscape or skies when i was playing

Woah. This is news to me, I never realized that before this day. But were developers really that lazy? I mean come on, how long does it take to make a different sprite for the bush?

maybe they just didn't have the space or maybe the devs were being pushed by the suits to make a certain time release and they ran out of time

Woah. This is news to me, I never realized that before this day. But were developers really that lazy? I mean come on, how long does it take to make a different sprite for the bush?

Remember - the console only pushed 8mb of memory. It was an easy fix to change the color code than recreate an entirely new sprite.
