Dreamcast has reached its 9th birthday today. Dreamcast was released in Japan on November 27, 1998.
the last official commercial DC game came out earlier this year, IIRC. later I'll look up what that game was, but anyway, happy birthday Sega Dreamcast! the console that started the previous generation. And while it wasn't the first console to have a modem for 'online' games, it was the first console to have games played across the 'internet'. Thanks to SegaNet, we got a stronger online gaming service with Xbox Live, the spiritual successor.
rest in peace Dreamcast, and thanks for the great gaming memories.
