Will the Master Chief make a return in a future game?

I say this, because Master Chief has become somewhat of an Xbox Icon. It is like ending games with Mario in for Nintendo, Sonic for Sega, Snake for Playstation.

Anyone think Master Chief will return in another game, even if it is nothing to do with the Halo trilogy Story Arc? I'm hoping so.

i don't think the character 'Master Chef' is popular enough (since you don't see him so much in-game, unlike mario or sonic where it is usually in 3rd person view) to have new games made of him, not many FPS style characters have a variety of games (though that might be because not many FPS style games have a specific character) but i dont think that he will star in other games (unless its like a SSB kind of game)

Im not sure how much I'd like him in another story arc, but we'll see. I guess it depends if they keep his bad-ass image.

Serious one= I heard they may use him in a Marathon game its not gonna be called Halo but Marathon and they could use the Chief i read this somewhere but i dont have huge proof
