I've been waiting for Starcraft 2 for a decade.

It should be released in late 2009 if everything goes well. Usually you have to add about a year from the start of the closed Beta.

Starcraft was the greatest RTS ever, no RTS has come close to having the strategical diversity and replay value of Starcraft.

If they can repeat the magic they created with Starcraft, then Starcraft 2 will be something to really look forward to.

Heh, I'm kind of doubting Starcraft: Ghost will ever come out.
But who knows, they might just finish it up one day and shove it out.
Still can't wait for Starcraft 2 though e.e

i heard that they just cancelled making starcraft ghost. one of my friends was all crazy about it and then was super sad one day to find they stopped making the game. i'll ask my friend later to see if he thinks he knows what the release date. he pretty much is in love with starcraft.

From what I heard over /gchat is that Starcraf is due out late this year or early next year. Remember Blizz has a lot to work on, WoW Expansion which would come out late this year, Stacraft 2, and a rumored WoW movie. So I say Starcraft 2 will come out late this year or early next.

Blizz isn't too worried about Starcraft right now, especially with WotLK coming out.

Yeah I've been betting on early next year for the release.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure Ghost went down the drain. So I don't think we'll ever see it coming out. Maybe if Starcraft 2 is a big hit they'll re do it perhaps.. but I'm not sure.

Blizzard have given a release date for 2009, that's all they've said though. I hope it is actually finished by then, can't wait to play this ! They have some trailers on their website aswell.

Well there also rumors that Blizzard going to release Diablo 3 before Starcraft 2 but I doubt that will happend. Nobody actually know the release date. Probably Early 2009

You guys will probably have to wait till E3 to get a release date, E3 is in early June this year btw. Perhaps they'll give the release date at the GDC or maybe they'll hold the 4th Blizzcon sometime early this year to announce all kinds of stuff for Diablo 3 and Starcraft 3
