Forum shut down 5 pm EST 12/13/07

Well guys I plan to move the forum to its new host and home for hopefully a few months without problem today evening at around 5 pm eastern time. Thats -5 GMT.

This is an advance 3 hr 20 minute warning :D Don't assume we are gone, just going to go down for a while and come back up with a few extras hopefully.

yea and just so you guys know, name servers for the domain takes a while to update fully, up to 24 hours so if you experience the cannot view page or back to the locked bored, just try back in a few mins, refresh, clear your cache, restart browser, they will all temporarily fix it

yeah process has started, i dont have to shut down the forum for the whole thing, just the last database transfer :-)

Shouldn't it have started yet? I got lucky though prevented myself from being disqualified in catbowl.

sorry its taking so long but i ran into some ftp problems, having a real hard time uploading the new directory files to the new host, it would upload 10 kilobytes of the file then stop, think its fixed now lol

just be patient, forum wont shut down until im ready to move the database
