what is your favorite or most used instant messenger? mine is aim, even through trilian is good containing AIM, MSN, and Yahoo messengers as well as IRC connection, i still use AIM seperately and my most used. I use MSN and Yahoo too sometimes, but not as much.

I already have AOL so AIM is the one I use since it's given to me...I used to have Yahoo, but it freezes up my comp a lot, I have MSN, but I stored my passowrd in it a long time ago and it won't log me in for some odd reason...but one question, what is Trillian and how do I get it?

xfire and xfire+ (multi IM plugin)
contains ALL i need and want :D
xfire(ingame chat) combined with MSN into the xfire window so i can chat with all my friends inside the game :D

yea, a lot of gamers use xfire, well the people i talk to lol, i have never used it, but i might give it a chance later on

for me, xfire's good for file transfer and game chat, otherwise I like aim for it's simplicity and ease.

Oh and I use the regular aim, NOT aim triton, cause that is just as messy and crowded as MSN is. All that **** on every single chatbox that I'll never use.

Xfire - It keeps track of how many hours I've played games fore ;D

well i dont know if u knew this allan, but when i was trying to get team Mafia.$ into the cal-o tournament, u have no idea how many people IMed me trying to get my account and password pretending to be king, ewok, and cal administrators lol, i blocked them all and filed complaints, they all did get banned, but they are stupid, i would count that as spam, they IMed me cuz i was the team manager, they left king alone cuz he was always on his phone of offline lol

I used to have a msn account with like 1000 people on it. That was back when MSN chat was free, and I was using mirc scripts/bots. Yep, those were the good old days, took over a lot of rooms, lol. Anyways, lost the account to a hacker cause he was jealous of my room stealing :)

i dont consider mirc to be an Instant Messaging software - they are more ofa chat room and stuff lol...don't really know how to explain it but you can't have a contacts list or anything here..you can have your own channel and stuff...so yeah...MSN is good..

The last forum I was at had a shoutbox that almost served a better purpose than the forum itself, because of the spam rules. Almost any post under 20 words was considered spam, so we used the shoutbox for most communication. Of course, everything in-depth or requiring details or instructions was put onto the forum... it can use msn, yahoo, and AOL, all in one, just without the features, you only got the ability to chat with friends.

If I had to choose a favorite instant messenger, I would choose AIM. I do not use instant messenger anymore. I'd rather talk to someone face-to-face. I send e-mails for things that are better over the internet, but talking through instant messenger has become too taboo.
