Well the Bank is finally up again. We haven't had a bank mod on this forum since we converted away from SMF and this is an excellent modification addition for the forum since the Interest rates seem to work for now.

To gain access to our bank, please click any of the forum links that says BANK or go to Quick Links drop down button and then click bank. You can also go there by clicking the following link: Bank (http://www.gamers-forum.com/ibank.php)

You can deposit your earned GFP from posting, winning tournaments and SOTWs, making threads, and etc.. You can deposit up to whatever you have. Then you can withdraw whatever you want from what you deposit. Works just like a regular bank without the long lines and real money of course.

The bank gives out an interest rate of 0.25% a DAY so that's a fair deal and the more GFP you have deposited, the more you will earn extra from just leaving the points there.

Look forward to a shop modification that will come soon. If you are experiencing problems with this or have any comments, compliments, concerns about the bank mod, please post them here.

yeah, well interst was 10% as default lol, but i couldnt leave it at that cuz everyone would have a 1000 gfp more in a few days and you and I would be getting 1,000 a day lol

i was looking into the shops that are available and they are al crap lol - lets you buy images and ribbons and trophies to collect lol, smf one was wayyy better, im gonna check to see if they are easily customizable, shop can be at least a week in delay so don't expect it tomorrow -

Total Bank Clients: 11
Total Bank Property: 36,386 GFP

that just means 11 people have opened their bank account by depositing some value of GFP and the total amount of GFP stored in the bank is 36,386 GFP lol - i deposted most of them, only have a 1000 at hand :D

i can but not with the bank lol, it wont let me do anything to it if you deposit but if i want to punish you i just give you negative GFP at hand :twitcy:

well im trying to get the shop to work but for now you can use the points to change your user title, we occasionally have tournaments where you pay gfp and at the end there is a grand prize - and im trying to get some more funding for a few give-a-way contests - last one was back in april and may and it went well - i've just been spending money on advertising now and of course, the new hosts - i think i finally found a stable one though, no problems since i moved it on friday - 3 days without a problem, new record since october lol

you dont lol - we first brought in the GFP system over a year ago to run contests - at first we gave out domains - about 4 or 5 people cashed it in and got domains - souljaa's gfx pros was one of them, thats how she got her whole graphics forum started :D and others bought the same but not as successful

then we started giving out steam games such as cs, css, half life, garry's mod and etc. We had 4 winners then - 2 took cs 1.6, 1 was css, and 1 took garrys mod - i plan to bring this one back again but I just need funding because the cheapest game is $10 and trust me, thats a lot compared to what the forum brings in

im disappointed to say the shop may not be up in 2007, luckily thats only 2 more weeks lol, the shop mod thats available right now is pretty useless, i may still put it up just so you guys get an idea of what its like
